Le 30 Août 1944, le Capitaine Français Jean Delviche, le Major Américain John Bonsall et le sergent Canadien Roger Cote étaient fusillés par les Allemands lors de la mission de résistance "Jetburgh Augustus" à Barenton-sur-Serre.
C'est un vibrant hommage qui leur a été rendu devant la plaque commémorative.

On August 30th 1944, the French Captain Jean Delviche, the American Major John Bonsall and the Canadian Sergent Roger Cote, on the war mission "Jetburgh Augustus", were shot down by Germans in Barenton-sur-Serre.
An homage was rendered to them in front of the plaque commemorating their tragic destiny.
