Great
reunion in Valley Forge, PA, from September 5th to 7th, hosted
by Royce Worthington. The 130 attendees could visit
Philadelphia, see the Liberty Bell and the Independence Hall,
and the Church of Christ where George Washington and Benjamin
Franklin used to pray. They also visited the places of the
battles of the Independence War, the Headquarters of General
Washington, and watch a movie about the Independence War.
During the evening banquet, an actor playing General Washington
in uniform made a lecture about the life of the first President
of the USA. Daniel Buret, president of the Franco-American
Association of Aisne and honor guest, made a speech and was
presented an American flag that was flown over the Capitol in
Washington DC. Jerry Black, president of the 38th BW association
also gave him a $2000 check for the maintenance of the Crepy
monument.
Also, during the reunion, a business meeting of all members attending the reunion
voted for the new Board of Directors of the association. The general
membership voted as follows : Jerry Black, President ; Bill Mata, Vice-President ; Robert
Maiden and Ken Scott, Treasurers.

The next reunion, in 2010, will be held in Sacramento, CA.
